SmartCover announced that Corey Williams, P.E. joined the company as president and CEO.
After more than 15 years under the guidance of co-founders and inventors, Dr. Greg Quist and David Drake, the announcement marks a new phase for the company, according to the SmartCover press release.
“As an original inventor and co-founder of the company, I’m thrilled to welcome Corey Williams to SmartCover,” said Dr. Greg Quist in the press release. “It’s an exciting time as the company continues to expand and I’m confident Corey is the right person to lead us to the next level.”
Dr. Quist is stepping back from leading daily operations of the company and will continue in the new role of chief visionary officer alongside David Drake who is chief innovation officer and a recognized industry icon. Both Quist and Drake serve on the Board of Directors.
