Bruce Thomson is Professor Emeritus and Research Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the University of New Mexico. He was elected to the Board of Directors of AMAFCA in 2010 and 2016. He is among the last licensed Professional Engineers in New Mexico who still knows how to use a slide rule.
