CWP Moves Stormwater Conference Online

April 10, 2020
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center for Watershed Protection has moved it's National Watershed & Stormwater Conference online.

The Center for Watershed Protection will be holding its 2020 National Watershed and Stormwater Conference online next week in response to the spread of COVID-19 and in an effort to minimize the virus' spread.

The conference was originally scheduled for April 14–17, 2020, in Austin, TX. When the City of Austin banned gatherings of more than 250 people on March 14, the conference's organizers transitioned the conference to a robust online format to allow for wider participation. The online conference will be held April 14–16, 2020. In addition to sessions and panel discussions, the Online 2020 Watershed and Stormwater Conference will also feature digital happy hour, an guided yoga session, and trivia. Lunch breaks will feature quarantine humor and water facts for kids.

The Online 2020 Watershed and Stormwater Conference will provide a forum for watershed and stormwater professionals throughout the nation to learn how to increase the resiliency of our communities in response to emerging and persistent threats to our water resources—from headwaters to coasts.
