In this webinar, we’ll start by covering the current stormwater management practices with:
- a detailed look at the hydrology
- design, and BMPs of typical (passive) stormwater detention and retention systems.
- regional differences in their applications
- explore their common inefficiencies and limitations
Using several case studies, Quigley and Marsh will introduce the new technologies available that combine an internet-of-things approach and a cloud-native platform to optimize your existing stormwater infrastructure’s performance and ability to adapt to different storm events. We’ll take a look at the different technologies available, their benefits, and long-term potential for a multitude of stormwater management situations. We’ll explore:
- cloud-native platforms
- weather forecast integration
- distributed real-time controls
Additionally, Quigley and Marsh will present OptiNimbus, a SaaS solution for stormwater management that uses forecast information to predict the amount of rain entering a watershed and prepares the system to receive the forecasted water based on site objectives and regulations, resulting in improved performance and the ability to minimize wet-weather discharge and maximize harvesting potential.
Finally, Quigley and Marsh will outline how you can implement these new technologies into your existing stormwater infrastructure to optimize your performance.
