Storm Water Industry View: Armoring the Dam

This dam in Milbrook, Ontario, pictured with before and after images, was reconstructed to ensure integrity during periods of high flood events. More than 30,000 square feet of Flexamat, a tied concrete block mat system, was installed in less than a couple of weeks as part of an erosion control solution. The material promotes vegetation and provides hard armor protection.
