Since its founding in Phoenix, Ariz., in 1972, the company has specialized in the construction of stormwater infiltration systems.

Torrent Resources is celebrating 50 years of business after its founding in 1972.

The company began in Phoenix, Ariz., as a provider of conventional drilling solutions. Today, Torrent Resources offers deep stormwater infiltration and groundwater recharge solutions.

The company was acquired by Oldcastle Infrastructure in November 2019. Oldcastle is a part of CRH, the largest building materials business in North America and Europe.

“With Torrent now a part of CRH, we embrace the company’s legacy of integrity, innovation, and always remaining nimble and responsive, and look forward to growing together as we continue to provide premier stormwater management solutions,” says Tyler Metcalf, area general manager for Torrent Resources.
