This photo was taken in May 2000 in Ancaster Ontario (Canada). After a rain event, the street was flooded by runoff from a field. The field had been stripped bare and graded the previous autumn (it was contoured and seeded in the late spring 2000). Silt fences were in place, but were ineffective.
